Creating DP

After watching this video by Brian King, I wanted to try my own stamping off designer paper. Because of these picture challenges at TheCard Concept and colourQ
I decided to go with the blacks and grays to create my DP on the clean and layed card. The gray geometric of the ottoman inspired the use of SU stamps from Delicate Doilies and Mixed Bunch. The Birthday Wishes also from SU is stamped in Real Red and backed with another oval in red. A few red sequins add sparkle.
To brighten up the inside, I added a little more Real Red. The sentiment is from my computer file.
The sketch I used is from Freshly Made Sketches

  1. Lovely stamped DSP, Donna! Love your take on the challenges. So happy you joined us at The Card Concept!

  2. Wow! You created a fabulous background for your sentiment. Love the addition of the sequins, too. Red/Black/White is one of my favorite color combos.

  3. Always been a sucker for doily backgrounds - so pretty and love the touch of sequins too! Thanks for playing along at Colour Q Donna!

  4. Your handmade DSP is perfect! I love the neutral colors with the pop of red. Great card! Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches.

  5. A+ on your `stamping off designer paper project! I love the clean, graphic design that you created - perfectly suited for various shades of greys & blacks. Thanks so much for choosing to share your card with us at the Card Concept Challenge :)
