Here are 4 more cards I made from the same stripe and polka dot papers. Wow! that is 10 cards from the same 2 sheets of paper. Even if I paid full price--which I try not to do--that would be a bargain. It is fun to see how many different styles of cards can be made from the same papers.

For MoJo week 149. Wow, that's a lot to get on a card. I tried 4 different things before settling on the ribbon for the vertical stripes. I used a scallop square punch from TAC and then cut a cream square and stamped it with a birthday circle from a set that I got for $1 at JoAnn's check out aisle--you know where they put all this cute stuff to look at while you are waiting in line. The scanner flattens things so it is hard to see but I used pop dots for the scalloped square. The diamond strip is also a TAC stamp. It is anchored by eyelets at either end. The stripe and polka dot paper I have had for awhile and can't remember where it came from--a problem when you have WAAAAAY too much paper. LOL!!! All in all, it took awhile but I am happy with the result. Hope you like it too.

Wow! It has been so long since I have made any cards. I have my craft room in the guest room. Had company Memorial Day weekend and 4th of July week so had to put everything away. Then I needed to finish the scrapbook of Cancun trip from way back in January. All that done, supplies strewn all over the room, and creativity returns. This is for 2Sketches4You . I've had this strip and polka dotted paper for awhile and can't even tell you who makes it. The wish stamp is one of those $1.00 items at JoAnn's checkout lane. The Happy Birthday stamp is TAC. Even while not creating, I printed out the sketches so I can whiz through several cards in a hurry now. I have several from this paper combo. The get well is another 2S4Y. And, I would never think of wearing stripes, polka dots, and gingham in the same outfit but is sort of cute on the card.
