Sharing a book binding fold card today using the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches
I used SU's retired Peaceful Boughs. Branches are in Old Olive and Mossy Meadow, the light and dark give some depth to the tree. I stamped several branches on the white piece on the binding side. Then I die cut 2 sizes of pinecones (from the same set) and glued them in place. I like raffia on nature cards so had to tie a bit around the binding fold.
Inside I stamped another SU sentiment and then an accent of a stamped pinecone.
Here is the Tuesday Morning Sketch which I flipped right to left so my book would open the right direction.
This is a really pretty card and I love how you interpreted the sketch with your pine cones. Thanks for joining us at Tuesday Morning Sketches and hope to see you again.

Fantastic Christmas card!! This is one of my favorite folds, and you've decorated it so beautifully. You've inspired me to use this fold for some of my Halloween cards. I think I'll also make some Christmas cards with it. Thank you (again) for the inspiration. I know I can always count on you, Donna.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card!! I love your greenery and pinecones! Awesome fold, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches
