I have just a few pieces of SU DSP Paper Blooms left. I am promising myself I will use all of them and not just throw them in the scrap box which is already way too full.
The backside of the pink flower paper has some really large blooms. I fussy cut this one to use for the center element on this week's Tuesday Morning Sketches. A few punched leaves tucked in behind and a sentiment complete the card. I can't give credit on the sentiment as I have pulled a bunch of hello and notes greetings and combined them into one container. I got tired of searching my stamp sets to find the one I would want. I am sure there are better organization methods but I find this one easy and simple. I have done the same with other "themes" like birthday, sympathy, and thinking of you.
Here is the sketch

Your card is so pretty. I like that big blossom. I gave up trying to identify all my sentiment stamps long ago. It just doesn't seem worth my time to search and search for the right one, either. It's easier to just combine similar stamps in one container.
ReplyDeleteThis turned out just perfect Donna....I’m with you on trying to use up some of my stuff rather than storing it away till who knows when!! Thanks for the inspiration and for creating with us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches!!
ReplyDeleteLovely card with that big flower as focal point.

Perfect take on the sketch and very pretty card. Great idea cutting a large flower from one side and then using the other side for the bg. No wonder they match so well.
ReplyDeleteHappy you shared with us at Tuesday Morning Sketches. Hugs, Debi TMS DT
