Vintage Tag

Using the sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch

This is my card. Clean but maybe not so simple. I used 6 different stamps, 2 inks, a colored pencil, and a punch. This is my go to image when I want a masculine card.
Love this tag from Kraft Outlet because it is already tea dyed and vintage looking. Off to the right is a Tim Holtz compass image. The star is Stampabilities, the ship from I Design Stamps, and the sentiment a partial from The Angel Company. No label on the "sand" border stamp. The inks are Tim Holtz Distress Tea Dye and SU's Chocolate Chip. I swiped a bit of aqua colored pencil to add water under the ship. The background paper is from my scrap box with a weave pattern stamped on.
On the inside, the ivory paper is finished with the same sand border.

  4. I agree, Donna, I don't think you can go wrong with that layout for a guy card! This one is fantastic! I love how you've done the inside border the same as the tag border!! Hugs, Darnell
