When I received my new Sale-a-Bration book from Stampin' Up, I opened that paper cover and discovered beautiful DP on the inside. I don't know if that was what Stampin' Up intended but WOW, 2 free 8 1/2 x 11 sheets. When layered against solid cardstock, you cannot see the images that are on the cover.
I pulled some solid colors from my scrap file, punched out some ovals, and stamped with a Thank You sentiment from SU. Easy peasy fast card!
You are a better crafter than I am - it would never have dawned on me to use the catalog cover as DSP! You did it beautifully and your CAS card is perfect. Thanks for joining The Paper Players challenge this week! Hope you will play again soon.
ReplyDeleteI love it when I find great patterned papers in the packaging! I'll even use it if it's white paper and of good quality and weight. Your card turned out great!
ReplyDeleteLovely card...my catalog cover was ripped & bent! Boohoo! Nice to see how you used yours to a great advantage! Thanks for playing with the Players this week!
ReplyDeleteWell, aren't you the clever girl, Donna! I just stopped and dug out my catalog and, sure enough, that is perfectly usable paper! I didn't even notice it. And now, thanks to you, I have all the inspiration I need for a design! Well and beautifully done!! Hugs, Darnell
