I am back from a blogging break with spending a week in sunny Jamaica. But boo! I came home with a sinus infection and bronchitis so have been lazing around for 4 days without much energy even to make a card. Today I finally feel human again and have been working on Valentine's for my grandkids.
My sweet 6 month old granddaughter learned to sit alone while we were there for Christmas. This digi from Free Dearie Dolls Digistamps reminds me of her. If you haven't seen this site, check it out. There are the cutest images and there is a b/w or already colored image you can download and use for free.
The pink background paper is from Hobby Lobby. I've cut off the company name so don't know who makes it.
I colored the image with colored pencils. The hearts are die cut and punches from SU. I connected the hearts with some pink/white twine and also made a bow of the twine for the cutie's hair. I wanted to do glitter hearts but am afraid the baby would get it on her hands and then in her mouth. So I just used Crystal Effects on them.
The layout is from Tuesday Morning Sketches
I am also linking up with The Card Concept LOVE challenge with a clean and layered style.

Such a sweet card. Your little granddaughter will love it. I often visit the Dearie Dolls blog site and have used her images in the past. Lots of cute ones to choose from, and she is so generous to allow us to use them for free.
