Pigs and Pumpkins

I am working on some fall themed cards for a regular client.
This adorable pig with pumpkins is a digi by From The Heart. Colored with SU blender pens and fussy cut.

The brown background is a piece of brown handmade paper from my stash. The DP is from SU. The sentiment is from the out of business The Angel Company. The label is Stitched Label Dies from SU.
I was inspired by the sketch at The Paper Players

Bear Mummy

Tuesday Throwdown challenge is being sponsored by Newton's Nook. The theme is "furry friends".  I love Newton's Nook cute animals. I chose Winston, the bear, all ready for trick-or-treat dressed as a mummy.  Continuing the Halloween Cards for Send A Smile 4 Kids
The Winston bear and sentiment are from Newton's Nook Halloween Set a few years ago.  The treat bag is from SU set Cookie-Cutter Halloween. The DP is retired from SU.

BOO!

Timeless Treasures, a craft store, in Nashville, IN recently had a consignment trash to treasure sale. I had taken a good size box of supplies for sale. After they took their commission, I had a pretty sizable credit to spend in the store. The ghost here is one of the stamps I bought.
Continuing Halloween cards for Send A Smile 4 Kids.
Orange stripe from the scrap box. Ghost stamp by Stamping Bella. Too cute to be scary. Boo is by Craft Smart.  I think the kids probably love shaking the googly eyes so I added some to the eyes on the ghost and the dot of the exclamation point. Do you think some ghost lost one of his eyes?
I filled in the boo spaces with a clear star gel pen. Here is a better view of that
This is my interpretation of CAS(E) this Sketch!

Happy Halloween

I know it seems to be rushing holidays but I want to get the Halloween cards done for Send A Smile 4 Kids before time to start my Christmas cards.
The image is a digi from Paper Nest Dolls colored with SU blender pens. The bats are Craft Smart, stamped, fussy cut. and popped up with foam dots.  The twine and the scrap of DP are from SU.
I used the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches
Also entering at Pixie's Crafty Workshop. I am playing for this prize. That dog image is so cute. It is in celebration of Di's adorable puppy, Dudley, who just had his first birthday.

Sunflowers

My favorite flower is the sunflower. Nothing as beautiful as a full field of them swaying in the sunshine. I recently purchased SU set Painted Harvest. It is really tedious fussy cutting the flower but they are so pretty. I wish they had made a die or punch for the flower as well as the leaves.
All the images are from the set. Burlap gives it a fall rustic feeling.

Spectacular Frog

This digital image by Sami Stamps is just the cutest.
I colored the frog with SU blender pens. The card base and the gingham are both Lemon Lime Twist from SU. The blue oval is from the stash sponged with some blue ink to add depth to his "pond.  Green ink under the frog provieds a lily pad. Looks like he is hanging out on his lily pad about to jump right out of the card.

Summertime

In my part of the world, it is hot, hot, hot. And a BIG tall glass of lemonade hits the spot.

The images are digitals by Pretty Grafik Designs that I found on etsy. The are in the Santa on Vacation collection. I like working with digis because you can make them any size.  I used all the colors of summer coolers--Lemon Lime Twist, Grapefruit, Daffodil Delight all from SU. I colored the images with Tombrow markers. The last picture shows the multiple folds. I lapped the edge of the orange under the inside liner which is blank white. The front sentiment I did on the computer. The inside sentiment is from a Penguin set by Lawn Fawn.

I will be putting this in my stash to go to Send A Smile 4 Kids and enter their current challenge.
