New Flower Paper

I have been doing a good job using up some stash papers. But sometimes you just have to break out some new papers. These are from SU. And I am certainly ready for some flowers. Mother Nature seems to be having a hard time losing her grip on winter here. Daffodils were up and blooming but then we had a 16 degree night. They got frostbitten!

I bought this in  a paper share. I think it must be an online exclusive but can't find it to tell you the name.  The little squares are from one of the Perfectly Paired pages. The base is Petal Pink and the dark mat is Secret Sea. Sentiment is SU.  The flowers don't exactly match but the colors coordinate.

You know while all the supplies are out why not do a second card.

On this one, I tried a graphic block square.

Which do you like better?

These are from the sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

  1. I like them both, but the first one is my favorite. I'm really, really ready for some real flowers to bloom, too. I absolutely love the label die you used for your sentiment on the first one. It has such an elegant shape. Great job on both cards!

  2. Pretty cards! Love the papers! It's been unseasonably HOT here--we had almost no winter at all! Thanks for sharing at AHS!!

  4. You've chosen pretty patterned papers. I think it's great that you've used different floral papers. They go so well together. I prefer the first card. Thanks for joining us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
