Thought of Love

I've been making Valentines for a Valentine's Vendor Market held yesterday. I was a bit disappointed with sales. It was very cold and piles of snow on the ground so attendance was low.

Anyway, this is one of the cards that did not sell.

I used a grunge stamp from SU for the splotches behind the die cut heart. The strip on the side is from a Recollections pad of paper. I tied a pink/white twine over the seam.  The sentiment is from SU. I cut it down and backed it with pink glitter paper.  Finished off with a red gem at the top of the heart.

  1. The grunge stamp highlights your heart die-cut nicely. I like the addition of the twine, too. Nice card! Sorry the low attendance affected your sales.

  2. Beautiful! I love that die cut heart - I have it still myself - and with the grunge background, it's perfect. The strip of DSP adds further zing. Thanks for sharing with us at The Paper Players.

  3. Donna, the grunge background is so fun to show off this big heart! The twine and shiny paper add so much detail! So happy you joined my challenge at The Paper Players this week!
