Butterfly--Clean and Simple

A CAS and quick card.  The butterfly is SU die cut from white card stock ( have you noticed if you try to make card stock one word, the spell checker changes it to yardstick?) that I pounced with bundled Q-tips and lime and turquoise inks. A new technique I learned at Unity Stamp Co. I can't find the video but maybe you can search for it. I get their videos in my email.  Basically it is 8-10 q-tips bundled and fastened with a rubber band. Pounce the bundle on an ink pad and then on your paper. Flip the bundle to the other end and use for a second color. I did this to the paper before die cutting and then touched up some spots after it was cut.

  1. Your card is awesome! I actually just posted a CAS butterfly card, too. Guess we're on the same wave length this week.

  4. This is so pretty, Donna! I have never heard of pouncing with a bundle of Q-tips, but I love it! Simple but effective and no need to buy something fancy to achieve the design! Thank you for sharing!! Hugs, Darnell

  6. Ha! Proof I'm not the only one who hates spellcheck! And who would have thought "bundle stamping with Q-tips" was a technique! Love it! Thanks for joining us this week at The Paper Players, Donna! Crystal, DT
