Christmas cards, made, addressed, mailed. Time to start on the next holiday. I usually make a lot of Valentine's for Send A Smile 4 Kids. They need to be sent by end of January so time to get going on that.
It is trend week at Just Us Girls. That trend is "jars". I made a shaker card with SU's Jars of Love. The little tag is hard to read, It says "you have my heart". I used a Cuttlebug impression folder of hearts on the white background. Although this is a special Valentine, it was pretty time consuming so I won't be making many of these for Send A Smile 4 Kids.

Super cute! I've got a jar die that I haven't used yet. This is a great idea, so maybe I'll give it a try. Hope you're having a great weekend.

What a super cute Valentine's Day card. I love your little heart shaker bits. Great card, great design, great take on the challenge. Thanks so much for playing along with us this week over at Just Us Girls!

I'm chuckling here, Donna! When I read the opening, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry that you have posted a Valentine card!! Too soon! But that is what we do, isn't it? One holiday done and dusted and we turn to the next one! And as VD cards go, this is perfection! Who wouldn't love a shaker jar of hearts set in a beautiful embossed heart background?!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit. I'm so sorry that you lost your computer contents. Nowadays that is a HUGE loss! The Mister has done a complete system backup so at least we have that if the whole thing goes belly up. Which is what our furnace has now done! Yup! (*&(&^%! It's been two days and we can't even get a repairman to call us back! Makes me long for the "good ol days" when there was a thing called customer service ... on that happy note, Happy Holidays!! Hugs, Darnell
