Peace heart

This is a little more elaborate than the usual clean and simple for cas-ual fridays challenge. But I was really pleased with the outcome and wanted to share. The challenge is use a heart. I am big into recycling almost everything. So this is a recycled card from a Christmas card I received last year. The background of "peace on earth" was on the inside flap. The dove was on the front and I cut it out and pasted it on the background. It looked a little plain on just white cardstock so I backed it with silver metallic paper. Then I thought it probably needed a punch of color and added the red/silver ribbon at the bottom. I had been thinking what I could do for the Cas-ual Fridays challenge so decided on a heart cut from red metallic paper and glued on the dove. Gives it just the perfect finishing touch.
