Cheery greeting

papercraft star challenge 52 used this photo for inspiration:

I love these colors they are so bright and cheery. Here is my card:

The starting point was the ribbon from Michael's. The colored papers are all from my scrap file. Butterfly stamp is Inkadinkado and the sentiment from Studio G, both stamped with StazOn black. I colored the butterfly with yellow and orange colored pencils. You can't see it here but I used a clear star gel pen on the trailer lines below the butterfly. Then for a little bling added the 3 blue rhinestones.
I'm hope this card will bring cheer to someone's day.

  1. Well, it did bring cheer to MY day !! Fun butterfly stamp, and Michael's ribbon (I cannot tell you how often I have started from Michael's ribbon too !) Thanks for playing along this week with us at Papercraft Star - we are always so glad to have you !

  2. Adorable card. Tthe ribbon pattern is so fun but my favorite is the sweet font of that sentiment! It's so cheerful and sure brightened my day too! I'm so glad you've joined us again at Papercraft Star! It's always a pleasure!

  3. Aww Donna you did such a great job with the colors from our challenge. Butterflies are always cheery so yes, you put a smile on my face. That flower ribbon is just perfect to anchor your butterflys scene. Thanks so much for joining us this week at Papercraft Star!

  4. Great card, Donna! I have started with ribbon before, as well, and am amazed at some of the creations that stem from that!
