Missing You

Still on my quest to fill the box for Operation Write Home They ask for a lot of missing you cards. Understandable as deployment separates families for long periods of time. That time away from each other must be very difficult. Sending cards for them to write notes to home is a small way I can show my appreciation for their dedication and service.
All the papers, except the Kraft cardstock base, are from the scrap file.  That's another quest--use up some of the scraps laying around.
The map banner is actually from maps I salvaged from a worn out atlas. I added 3 square stick on brass brads to anchor the banners.
I can see now that the miss you (The Angel Company) is crooked even though I used a Stamp-a-ma-jig. My glasses must have been askew.
This is for The Kraft Journal challenge of "just for him".
And I used the sketch from Mojo Monday

  1. Love how you made a banner out of a map! What a great idea! This is a very handsome card.

  2. Great card for OWH and I am happy you shared it with us at The Kraft Journal for the "Just For Him" challenge. We hope you will join us again! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us.
