Here are my masculine and feminine card for Papertrey Paper Dolls challenge. Both cards are on creme cardstock. The stripe paper is More Mimi from TAC. For the masculine one I cut with some brown and beige stripes showing. For the feminine, I cut with just green and pink stripes. The stem stamp is from PTI. I love the versatility of having just the stems on a stamp. On the masculine card, I "smudged" timber brown ink on the stems to look like cattails and then swiped green, brown, and blue inks at the bottom to give the marsh effect. On the feminine one, I used the same stems stamp and then used a flower petal stamp from TAC, stamping it several times across the stems. then used a butterfly from the same PTI set. I mounted this on pink and green coordinating papers. On this one I traced the Happy Birthday with clear gel pen and used a little clear gel pen on the butterfly. 3 pink rhinestones at the bottom (they don't scan very well) add even more bling.

I needed a special 50th wedding anniversary card for a neighbor. I received candy for Mother's Day that had this beutiful gold ribbon. That served as my inspiration. The card is ecru cardstock layered with gold shimmer and then white roses paper. I wrapped the layers with the gold ribbon, tied a bow with my Bow-Easy and added a "diamond" brad acccent. I cut out the number 50 with Cricut and stamped congratulations with gold ink from Studio G. I think it looks really elegant and I'm pretty sure it will be a one of a kind for them.

MoJO week 137. Using orange is a challenge for me. But I found this pretty green w/orange butterflies ribbon at Michael's. Here is my creation. I used white cardstock, then orange polka dot from Nana's kids pack. The stems stamp is from PTI and the flower stamp from TAC. I did a off stamp (stamp on scrap paper first, then on my card stock) technique for the flowers because my orange was too bright. The blessings stamp is part of a stamp from TAC. This is for my daughter for Mother's Day. I wanted her to know what a blessing she and her family are to me. I just wish we closer geographically.

I found this sketch at http://www.oz-somestamps.com/ I love Heather's sketches. She always puts the dimensions of all the papers to cut. No thinking!! I am changing some flower arrangements at home so am recycling the daisies. The papers were all in my scrap file. I love the blue and yellow combination. The stamp is one of those $1.00 specials in the bins at the checkout line at JoAnn's. Hope you like my "thrifty" card.
