I need a graduation card with gold and black as the school colors. It just happens The Paper Players challenge has those very colors.

I cased LeAnne's card, you can see it here. Thanks LeAnn for the inspiration.
Black card base, Daffodil Delight mat, white card stock matted with gray and elevated with foam tape. The Daffodil Splotch is from Gorgeous Grunge. The sentiment is an old SU one. The mortarboard is a sticker backed with the gray card stock and trimmed to create a shadow and make it firm enough to elevate on dimensionals.
Inside is a computer sentiment with black and Daffodil Delight strips

The colours do lend themselves to a graduation card. I like the way you've popped up the cap against the golden splatter. Thank you for joining in my colour challenge at The Paper Players this week. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that's a fabulous graduation card! How serendipitous that the colors you needed matched our challenge! I love that little graduation cap too! Thanks for playing!
ReplyDeleteOh, Donna! What a perfect graduation card! The graduation cap sticker is awesome. It really stands out against the splattering. The larger sentiment is gorgeous. Love it! Thank you for playing with The Paper Players this week!
ReplyDeleteThis is a WONDERFUL grad card, Donna! I love it's style and straight-forward design. The inside sentiment is also terrific. You get an A+ for this one!
ReplyDeleteBlack and yellow are great colors for a grad card, Donna, and the splotch, mortarboard, and framing all work great with the sediment! I like the inside sediment, too. Hugs, Darnell
