Like me, you probably find yourself with a lot of strips of scraps especially from 6x6 papers. This is a good way to use them.
The card base is a dark grey, then a layer of metallic gold. Then the green is Soft Succulent from SU. The patterns are also from SU's Light's Aglow 6x6 paper. I die cut a gold metallic snowflake. The sentiment is SU's Itty Bitty Christmas embossed with gold.
I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday
You're right, this is a great way to use those scraps of DSP we all have. I plan to use a few strips of DSP on some of my Christmas cards, too...when I get around to making them, that is.
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely a great way to use up some of those scraps--and I have a LOT of them! I love how you accented with the gold snowflake and sentiment. I hope to use some strips of DSP to make holiday cards, too--whenever I get around to actually making them!
