I don't think I have ever seen an embossing folder used on designer paper before but gave it a try for the
Paper Players grid challenge. I had already selected the papers and ribbons for the
Tuesday Morning Sketches and had to incorporate embossing to complete the top row of the grid.
The DP is from SU and I used a Cuttlebug folder. Don't think most DPs would look good embossed but this one looks kind of like a lacy floral fabric. The flower is from SU's Summer Silhouette and the sentiment from Crazy About You. I tied the button with some linen thread and attached it with a glue dot..
Beautiful card! I think you're right about embossing DSP. It usually doesn't work, but in this case it did!
