Hearts

This card is for challenge from Tuesday Throwdown to use hearts. I don't usually do a lot of Valentine cards but I have just had fun making them this year. I even had a "designer valentine" sale at my local Curves one morning. This is the one I saved out for my husband.

I used a black base card. The love DP is from Hobby Lobby. The doily is Martha Stewart. Nesties labels 8 for sentiment which was done on computer. I used a red star gel pen to trace around the embossed area of the label. The hearts are from a page of stickers I've had for a long time--probably because I don't ever make many valentines! You think?!

MoJo

Getting back in the groove. This is my third challenge this week. While blog hopping, I spotted a couple of cards made for this week's Mojo Monday challenge. I loved the design and wanted to give it a try.

The DPs are from Hobby Lobby. The stamp from bargain bin at Michaels. The scalloped circle is Martha Stewart.

Shiney

I have 2 cards to share for the Tuesday Throwdown challenge to use something shiny on a card. The first is for my 3 year old grandson who is just learning his letters. I added glitter glue to the V for sparkle.
The DP is Paper Studio purchased at Hobby Lobby. "Is for" are separate alphabet stamps.

The second is for DH.
The silver love charm is from Michael's (in the wedding dept.) The scallops are an EK punch. The sentiment is SU.

Wee Memories challenge "new". I have a new Big Shot so wanted to try several things with it. I'll admit I am totally casing a card by Laura that she entered in stamping411 design challenge this week. Here is the front:
And here is the inside:

I used craft cardstock base, glued on hearts cut with Cricut and then run it through Big Shot with Cuttlebug argyle IP. The shapes are Nesties scalloped ovals cut and embossed via Big Shot. Front stamp is Michael's $1 bin and the forever is Studio G. For a little more emphasis, I ran along the embossed edge of the white with a red star gel pen.
