The sentiment is unlabeled in my birthday greetings box.</p><p>Inside is a computer made sentiment and more water across the bottom.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgH622MLgsczafyRQH3L5YgYMdn6KpX93pyAQdK-kcLqK1v-100xjv4Wm6L-v6rIiNv1dP83EvmwrqfJeO6rDXRWkjehI1aGDUqhdAaXCZnTDGJpkmqXfU7tcP7KursSEx_q9SKu2eNR6zZ2TunsL6KFa8mNSvTt0cPxxZqcierbNNX3uoqXOkV2nPjack/s4031/45C198FF-BFD8-4CA2-82C7-29EDA442A073_1_201_a.jpeg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4031" data-original-width="3023" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgH622MLgsczafyRQH3L5YgYMdn6KpX93pyAQdK-kcLqK1v-100xjv4Wm6L-v6rIiNv1dP83EvmwrqfJeO6rDXRWkjehI1aGDUqhdAaXCZnTDGJpkmqXfU7tcP7KursSEx_q9SKu2eNR6zZ2TunsL6KFa8mNSvTt0cPxxZqcierbNNX3uoqXOkV2nPjack/w300-h400/45C198FF-BFD8-4CA2-82C7-29EDA442A073_1_201_a.jpeg" width="300" /></a></div><br /><p>I hope you are inspired by our new sketch and find some time this week to create and share.</p><p><img alt="Tuesday Morning Sketches" height="128" id="Header1_headerimg" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKtNPq9C-MBD31o__SrYuMUnTF-OKDtR9S1S2nZDHdXlWwPicOefrVDGMWR9WVzPmuI2yQY58oKeou3m_j6uV-aCZI7Scw31TKgSIMkzcli11HE4CrYJXejaOVlNCB85Xqre2dICGsU0NW/w320-h128/Custom+Blog+Banner+-+Tuesday+Morning+Sketches-01.png" style="display: block;" width="320" /></p>designbydonnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14126699963672431326noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5926283411317788556.post-87354414298768098852024-02-25T15:07:00.000-05:002024-02-25T15:07:43.280-05:00Triple Fun Fold<p> This was such a fun card to make. I found inspiration from Pintrest by <a href="https://jumpingintostamping.com/2023/03/20/playing-in-the-rain-peek-a-boo-card/">Jumping into Stamping</a>. Patricia's card was a pink Easter card. To make mine masculine for <a href="http://cardz4guyz.blogspot.com">Cardz 4 Guyz</a> I used an animal print and a giraffe in a peek-a-boo circle.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEim6o3Gwf4fnKZczvrzqBGRz34DPCTmoM-2icK0ZQZXF6AJK3z-i1weUvLLCvTAL5L45A-nEb0iqLV1YpS5_ENvKNpKmsekMaFWvlbbLsr964YomlL6MgdmVh8lLtStNhOCORv3GgDnSYG41Y_rwE3lxODfcTtEO6Qbwky-QBN5pu46wj83cQyy3KS0vLQ/s4032/A239C218-13B9-4A4E-A208-D34BEBB2270F.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEim6o3Gwf4fnKZczvrzqBGRz34DPCTmoM-2icK0ZQZXF6AJK3z-i1weUvLLCvTAL5L45A-nEb0iqLV1YpS5_ENvKNpKmsekMaFWvlbbLsr964YomlL6MgdmVh8lLtStNhOCORv3GgDnSYG41Y_rwE3lxODfcTtEO6Qbwky-QBN5pu46wj83cQyy3KS0vLQ/w300-h400/A239C218-13B9-4A4E-A208-D34BEBB2270F.jpeg" width="300" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">The double sided paper is SU! and the giraffe is from Whimsey Stamps. I know it is early for Easter but they need a lead time of at least a month to get them distributed to the hospitals.</p><p>It is the last of the designer's favorite card at <a href="http://tuesdaymorningsketches.blogspot.com">Tuesday Morning Sketches</a> This week is Tammy's favorite</p><p><img border="0" data-original-height="665" data-original-width="349" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggqQGgk0ZacnOdzBqo9LOWKJIJJ1A0zmgER_Bo28vTcPAT5RxhiN00EyQs1ZLJjAi48rWaBSJ1t8u8EJdiaeLwIAz8fzF_LcnJbtjqjGruxYBiw-BKK4nBSE3fjzWEMoeNSdaJXVSC5hvETEHqARsTDR-m52JL-a_BtUoClbhy5dF-SwqqsNXZxGfJI6g/s320/TMS%20%23743%20-%20719.jpg" width="168" /></p><p>As I was making this card</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgESZcSw2ZJWws-X6_cDnCAgv8qlPZBygTqRY8lTWJntpiUKmD0mh5XhJDJKyv0uodXprBrV9r4JgzdSEb0XVaF5joAjZVydYh5g-y8GPlDTdXHVjAuvdz_bsxvcFhHjFJbwY4stjaajzQ7ucoG1AeImKT5S31NDmg3OZZJaDoKO1ph1EsDEbvwCnPA4p0/s3264/190E5757-64A1-4CD3-A756-68700838F4CF_1_201_a.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3264" data-original-width="2517" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgESZcSw2ZJWws-X6_cDnCAgv8qlPZBygTqRY8lTWJntpiUKmD0mh5XhJDJKyv0uodXprBrV9r4JgzdSEb0XVaF5joAjZVydYh5g-y8GPlDTdXHVjAuvdz_bsxvcFhHjFJbwY4stjaajzQ7ucoG1AeImKT5S31NDmg3OZZJaDoKO1ph1EsDEbvwCnPA4p0/w309-h400/190E5757-64A1-4CD3-A756-68700838F4CF_1_201_a.jpeg" width="309" /></a></div><br /><p>I thought how much it resembled Tammy's favorite sketch. I think the sketch was designed to be a slimline but you can make it any size you want.</p><p>That adorable bunny is Stamping Bella. I colored him with pastel shades. The papers are from SU. It was looking a little plain so I added a scalloped edge in purple--because the button on the bow is purple. Then decided it needed more dressing up so added grass to look like he is hunting for eggs to put in his basket. I was successful in including all the spring colors: yellow, pink, purple, green, blue (lightly shading on the eyelids).</p><p>My twofer is more true to the sketch.</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeVVxZhfeHyJxT4MZ9JYXGvKfv4iCWxwr_NDAkmv5IOiJsTyQpSoHTNH4McJlah-5rlzImsz_1zx16IWAouxYL_GeuYFSPSj3nYbDQV3VCkqn08PjnD1PDvSq6Y9BV6VxG2jyTirJokPUkBAWCM4TflnX70GS_uNwSHRfXlxiQp5QVuh_Miba4OPijKtY/s4032/4FA43DB0-EF5E-4458-9CFF-5B14385D474C.jpeg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeVVxZhfeHyJxT4MZ9JYXGvKfv4iCWxwr_NDAkmv5IOiJsTyQpSoHTNH4McJlah-5rlzImsz_1zx16IWAouxYL_GeuYFSPSj3nYbDQV3VCkqn08PjnD1PDvSq6Y9BV6VxG2jyTirJokPUkBAWCM4TflnX70GS_uNwSHRfXlxiQp5QVuh_Miba4OPijKtY/w300-h400/4FA43DB0-EF5E-4458-9CFF-5B14385D474C.jpeg" width="300" /></a></div><br /><p>The floral spray if from SU's Nature Harvest. Asking for donations of course but I seldom donate. Personally I think they spend a lot of money sending out this stuff. They should use that money for their cause. But I do like using parts of the free cards to make my own greetings. This is one of those examples.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-Lk9IGU8zaEoc6kiRZNOz61o7KEdQ8iVLPBDxodCmwk4XKsbf_ChcVa_ePch9NF3idYy27PQd85PJN8HDaivKcCIZoWrC7JSRfId0wuvlOycUGtDv7a0-RrhzWfcb9XEgnOasFQ7BsmhpEPdu7jzKNishg_vcW0FfLciAjFZH2Go1Yp2556Hz-MB0i18/s4032/97E7642A-8AF6-47FC-8930-9C8B7F00EEA6.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-Lk9IGU8zaEoc6kiRZNOz61o7KEdQ8iVLPBDxodCmwk4XKsbf_ChcVa_ePch9NF3idYy27PQd85PJN8HDaivKcCIZoWrC7JSRfId0wuvlOycUGtDv7a0-RrhzWfcb9XEgnOasFQ7BsmhpEPdu7jzKNishg_vcW0FfLciAjFZH2Go1Yp2556Hz-MB0i18/w300-h400/97E7642A-8AF6-47FC-8930-9C8B7F00EEA6.jpeg" width="300" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><blockquote style="border: none; margin: 0 0 0 40px; padding: 0px;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I die cut the image from the front of one of the free cards. I think it worked very well with the pink patterned paper. I did the sentiment on the computer and die cut it with a label die. The background paper was first embossed with a rough feeling E/F. It is hard to detect in the picture but you can feel the texture. Then I tore the paper into 3 strips. I anchored them with 3 strips of real duct tape. I attached the sentiment with a bandaid cut in half. The bear is an old one from my stash. I stamped, colored and secured it to the front. I cut a narrow strip of surgical gauze and tied it in a knot and secured it to the bear's "knee" with a glue dot. </p><p>The layout is this sketch from <a href="https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com">Freshly Made Sketches</a></p><p><img border="0" data-original-height="2100" data-original-width="1500" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjjj87PHe1E5Pa26Ced2oTN8yVJFi-F7Lvg-f01Kr18cCh7zWOPSrbHPUzJPQWbNWMayS2heZoKOMLkO72OmXAiX8jDuKPzKL4do_Y0YWwlHZqKJ8K7RSuLC2xOjcjalW1MNPYC0sx2yYiJAhDRcYrFHAJLOMEu3_gHbsO_vBkJ0jjFduRX6RzBHlljvuS/w229-h320/FMS%20Final%20618-001.jpg" width="229" /></p><p><br /></p>designbydonnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14126699963672431326noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5926283411317788556.post-3045360529507012172024-01-09T15:00:00.002-05:002024-01-09T15:00:26.229-05:00New Stuff<p> <a href="http://cardz4guyz.blogspot.com">Cardz 4 Guyz</a> new challenge is Use Something New from your Stash. </p><p>I have been making a real dent in my stash of patterned paper the past 2 weeks so I am ready for something new. I actually haven't bought anything new lately. The only thing new I could find new was a wreath stamp, a Christmas gift from my granddaughter. I thought I could try making it into a masculine looking wreath.</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiV2LAwASJXpW11e4J5M7GuyMQLhucsL7hXI_U0hLmCk4j1KmQbDn-TBzum_Qc5pMn453JOVAkXZLtIe4hwWbsZF7dDoPBDXlkpoaukplCC5PM554kQzcA83yuJj95LPKm1B0-diRSzZFGFh_BmmW2ti0TCsGNxnRPbWSzqPUJlrrZhZcNJF6Xh_apR0DQ/s4032/5DFCEE2D-7281-4DB6-B60A-54C49CA8F9F7.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiV2LAwASJXpW11e4J5M7GuyMQLhucsL7hXI_U0hLmCk4j1KmQbDn-TBzum_Qc5pMn453JOVAkXZLtIe4hwWbsZF7dDoPBDXlkpoaukplCC5PM554kQzcA83yuJj95LPKm1B0-diRSzZFGFh_BmmW2ti0TCsGNxnRPbWSzqPUJlrrZhZcNJF6Xh_apR0DQ/w300-h400/5DFCEE2D-7281-4DB6-B60A-54C49CA8F9F7.jpeg" width="300" /></a></div><br /> I stamped the wreath and colored it with Stampin' Blends with Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler. For the masculine element, I wrapped the wreath with twine and added a twine bow anchored with a gold brad. I hung the wreath on a "brick" embossed Cherry Cobbler paper, rubbed with white ink. The merry christmas is a die cut from Stampin' Up! The whole image is on an Evening Evergreen card base.<p></p><p>As this is a new stamp, I will also share the card with <a href="https://mynbus.blogspot.com">My NBUS</a></p><p>And this is a record for me--my first Christmas Card for the next season.</p>designbydonnahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14126699963672431326noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5926283411317788556.post-17736179555678351052024-01-09T06:00:00.001-05:002024-01-09T06:00:00.146-05:00<p>This week's featured previous sketch from <a href="http://tuesdaymorningsketches.blogspot.com">Tuesday Morning Sketches</a><img border="0" data-original-height="545" data-original-width="424" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5nb6CBTpVEEs0mNXsghamgRv3sASPSIptl5VXi4HxnPxkcLdIaCKzn7I_yqxu31D421cMqksqwcWoZFQYoGY0OYCxZpzdTjWlDs8hfWxWG__5bGFfZmOQRwvMhChUH3gI6noKN7QHsWMyFjtaw4-dZCd-22c0C7m0NeEV3ERt0ngCRVJdnlN9PDsqlzc/s320/TMS%20%23739%20-%20718.jpg" width="249" /></p><p>I have a fun card that I will be sending to <a href="https://sendasmile4kidschallenge.blogspot.com">Send a Smile 4 Kids</a></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLyFmA8n5RVDDau0fhVP1MBEuKmVVQAgTlithH7ZZYjRxd991zipIk9KNQJIHkbMqPCEdoarQ__X2fYWrEdIspsbL35h2_ByhSVwbGgJDbnBSOhKt-xnXpvdEQngV_cM1gCeuP9pH-rpwHHzgDDkbR0-kKlko7U9oZuczotW7qN2wrD26rjXGDAJIzwLc/s4032/AA46390E-E5DD-45B8-A98C-226F6C0DC876.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLyFmA8n5RVDDau0fhVP1MBEuKmVVQAgTlithH7ZZYjRxd991zipIk9KNQJIHkbMqPCEdoarQ__X2fYWrEdIspsbL35h2_ByhSVwbGgJDbnBSOhKt-xnXpvdEQngV_cM1gCeuP9pH-rpwHHzgDDkbR0-kKlko7U9oZuczotW7qN2wrD26rjXGDAJIzwLc/w300-h400/AA46390E-E5DD-45B8-A98C-226F6C0DC876.jpeg" width="300" /></a></div><br /><p>I don't remember where I saw this sentiment but I thought it so fun. I have made ten cards this week with the fern patterned papers. Does that justify buying new paper?</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlRaOLa_gMFjCYmSWdpBronmXRTytE7HrY57XJKN6UL2WCUClx5x8c1BxC331x5FY-P-C4OMm1nd2bFjkBnQ2n8CLuZCWH8UPRVjumMgQ7wSgutufHSwEBQbYcDgLFCuCqyygjLS5Fy6UeTXFR55qNjl7MiRWk_WMwVrDP80jBMGaniAZLK-BZcQVdboY/s3772/B5ED7190-A38D-4D6E-80EF-13AF747CDF96_1_201_a.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3772" data-original-width="2947" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlRaOLa_gMFjCYmSWdpBronmXRTytE7HrY57XJKN6UL2WCUClx5x8c1BxC331x5FY-P-C4OMm1nd2bFjkBnQ2n8CLuZCWH8UPRVjumMgQ7wSgutufHSwEBQbYcDgLFCuCqyygjLS5Fy6UeTXFR55qNjl7MiRWk_WMwVrDP80jBMGaniAZLK-BZcQVdboY/w313-h400/B5ED7190-A38D-4D6E-80EF-13AF747CDF96_1_201_a.jpeg" width="313" /></a></div>The papers are all different sides of the fern papers.
