SPECTACULAR

Working on get well cards today.

The frog is a Sami Stamps digital colored with SU blenders. The marble papers are by Ms. Sparkle from JoAnn's. The sentiment is an old unlabled one. 3 little purple dots repeat that purple banner. And of course a frog needs googly eyes.
Inside is a computer made sentiment "Wishing you a spectacular speedy recovery"
The sketch is from  Tuesday Morning Sketches

Hippo Godmother

When I saw Di's inspiration picture at Pixie's Crafty Workshop with the cute hippos on it, I remembered an old hippo fairy stamp I have.
I used a Highland Heather by SU card base and then 2 scraps of purple dots from my stash. The image and sentiment are unlabeled and both stamped on white snippets. I colored the hippo with Prismore colored pencils and star gel pens The circle is backed with a glossy gold scalloped circle.
Inside sentiment is computer made and accented with another unlabeled stamp magic wand with more star gel pen coloring. Definitely submitting this for the prize.
I used this sketch in a horizontal orientation from Tuesday Morning Sketches
So my birthday was last week. My birthday wish would be for you all to stay well, stay away from people, and for this disaster to be over soon.

Purple

TIME OUT Challenges is raising awareness for persons with epilepsy. Today is national awareness for epilepsy. And purple is their color.
My card:
I used the negative from a square die cut for the different inks sponged on. The flower is an old SU stamp. The sentiment is also SU stamped on an oval die cut and edge sponged with purple. 3 colored sequins add some extra bling.
Colors from SU:  Highland Heather, Pool Party, Lemon Lime Twist.

Forest Animals

The new challenge at The Card Concept is all about forest animals.
I am using clean and layered concept for my card.
The patterned paper is retired from SU, maybe a year or two old. I am making a dent in some of my DSP scraps. The pattern sort of resembles a forest. To emphasis that, I added a stamped tree from SU's Rooted in Nature. The tan polka dot paper is the reverse of the green. The bunny is from SU's Welcome Easter, stamped, colored with SU blender pens, fussy cut and popped up on foam tape. The sentiment is an old unlabled one. Looks like he is hopping right out of the forest to say hello. Remember that song we sung as kids "Little bunny foo foo, Hopping in the forest?"
The layout is the sketch from Freshley Made Sketches
I loved the sketch so I made a sea shore theme card also
The papers are from the same pack as the above card. I punched out "seaweed" strands in 2 colors and also vellum. The shells are an old unlabled stamp. I double stamped them with a light tan and then a color over that then fussy cut them. I think I could have used a bolder sentiment here as this one doesn't show up very well.

Glitzy Birthday

More for stocking up my stash of cards.
This is from the 1 sheet wonder set I just posted here. It wasn't even a full 12x12 sheet of paper but I was still able to get 4 cards.
This birthday card is for Shopping Our Stash challenge with theme of Happy Birthday. The patterned paper and the die cut are from my stash.
The large sentiment is a die cut from SU.  I used 3 layers so it would have more substance. You can't see the sparkle here but I coated the sentiment with clear glitter glue so it really stands out. I added 4 coordinating colored sequins for extra interest. Large sentiments really make cards quick and easy without having to add a lot of other elements.

1 Sheet 4 Cards

Another successful attempt at using up patterned papers that have been hanging around for awhile. Being in one of the age related risk groups,  I am mostly hanging at home these days and working on my card stash. Thank goodness for social media and blogs to keep us in touch with others.
This background paper is Stampin" Up!.
The sentiment is unbranded. The flower and leaves are from SU.
I used the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches
Here are the others with the same paper.

I've been asked to make sets of cards for a lady to use as gifts at a tea. I've tried to coordinate the look for each of the 4 cards in each set.

Troopics

Where I wish I were at the moment: tropical paradise, isolated with no threat of virus. At least we crafters are having lots of time while we are isolated at home.
Barely getting this in on time for  Hand Stamped Sentiments gorgeous picture
The patterned paper is Lily Impressions from SU. The pink strip at the bottom is the reverse of the patterned paper. The sentiment and tag die cut are also SU. The flamingo is Stampabilities.

Twofer Chicks

When I saw Darnell's Twofer challenge this month, I couldn't wait to play along.
I love making Easter cards. The pastel colors and the cute little animals just makes me happy. And a hope that winter weather is almost over.
I've used the spring chick from SU's Welcome Easter set.
Onefer is the traditional Easter card. Special shears cut grass strips on green vellum. For the egg, I die cut an oval and then cut it in two with some Fiskar decorative scissors. I decorated the egg with various designs and inks. I stamped, colored and fussy cut the chick. Then I anchored it only in the center and "fluffed" out the wings. 3 punched pastel butterflies float above. The sentiment is an old unlabeled one. 2 punched daisies anchor the sentiment strip.
My twofer is a thinking of you. Sentiment is from The Unity Company. Three stacked chicks are sure to bring smiles to someone.

Summer Flowers

I've challenged myself to use up some of the papers that are accumulating rapidly in my craft room.  So this week have been working on 1 sheet wonders with 12x12 sheets of patterned paper.
This patterned paper is a last year one from SU. The flower stamp is also SU. The sentiment an unlabled one. 2 pieces of purple card stock and white ribbon are from the scrap box. I used the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches

Also entering at Shopping Our Stash theme of "Is it summer yet"?. Definitely over the winter blahs and ready for warmer weather and blooming flowers.
I've been able to get 5 cards from this one sheet of paper. There is still a small piece left so there may be another card coming.
