Daisies

It is a lazy summer Sunday afternoon. I have taken time to retreat to my craft room and create. After browsing some blogs, I realized I had not yet played with  Pixie's Crafty Workshop Snippet Challenge #358 and would love a chance to win that Newton's Nook daisy stamp and die set.
The sky background is a sheet from Ms. Sparkle Clouds and Grass paper pad. The rest is a bunch of snippets. The Lemon Lime Gingham is from SU as is the sentiment.  I think daisies and gingham go so well together. The tiny orange strip is the very last bit of snippet from a sheet of patterned paper. See, never throw anything away, it just may be the accent you need. The daisy dies, stems, and leaves are from SU different sets. The butterfly was laying on my desk left over from another project.

  2. I LOVE your daisies! I planted several perennial daisy plants this year, hoping I have flowers from them for many years to come. I think it would be nice for you to win that daisy stamp and die set, too! You'd certainly put it to good use making beautiful daisy cards like this one.

  3. What a pretty card Donna! I also love daisies, such happy little flowers and I love that they close up to go to sleep when the sun goes down. Certainly the gingham is a great foin for the flowers as well!

    Hugs
