Bunny Fun

Since my Valentines for Send A Smile 4 Kids have been sent and the ones for my grandchildren are ready, I have started on some Easter cards. I found some beautiful pastel purple papers in the box a friend gave me last summer. Perfect for spring and Easter.
I rarely use stickers on cards but I found some adorable bunnies on discount at Michael's after Easter last year. I surrounded the bunny with Pool Party ink to make it pop off the white background. The sentiment is from Unity Stamps. The colored eggs are also stickers popped up on foam tape.
I used the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches, using the sentiment instead of flowers on the top.
Here are some of the other cards with the same papers and stickers.

Snippets

Like all of you, I have such a big pile of snippets I could set up a whole card shop if I used them all. I was delighted to find Pixie's Crafty Workshop challenge to use up those scraps/snippets we have saved over the years. How did I miss this one all this time? Darnell is having a Linky Party in honor of the 7th anniversary for Di who is the "Headmistress of Pixie's Snippet Playground"
Darnell, you will be so proud of me. I used snippets, NBUS, and made a twofer
Onefer:
Snippets from SU's Tropical Escape and NBUS stamp and sentiment from Unity Company.
For this one, I was inspired by the sketch from The Paper Players
Twofer:
This time I added a snippet on the outside as well as the inside and trimmed the front so the inside would show. Here is a better shot of that.

Spring, Please

It may be winter outside--we have 3" of snow here--but I am definitely thinking spring.
The patterned papers are from the scrap box. The images and sentiment are from SU's Your're Inspiring set. I colored the flowers and leaves with Stampin" Up! blending pens.

Let's Go Fly A Kite

I just saw the new Mary Poppins movie. It was cute. Not only new characters but new music. But I missed the old tunes and Julie Andrews. Remember the song "Let's Go Fly A Kite?"  I have a NBUS set from Technique Tuesday that just fits that idea.
I punched out clouds that are actually light blue but somehow kept photographing as gray. The kites were stamped over the upper cloud after it was glued in place. Then I stamped them again on scrap white, colored just the kite portion, fussy cut them and glued over the stamped clouds. This sentiment in the set seemed too small for the white space so I stamped it on a punched cloud. 3 little stamped flowers float at the bottom.

I will also be sending this to Send A Smile 4 Kids

Replenish

A few days late but wishing you all a Happy New Crafting Year.
It seems so long since I have made a card. Time to replenish my stock. Especially the get wells before the flu season really hits.
The image is  a From the Heart digi, colored with SU Blender pens. All the patterned paper is SU"s Tropical Escape.  Am I making matters worse?  Stare at that background awhile, you may be dizzy. And the strips are a "nausea green" to go along with the sick theme. Okay, so maybe this won't really make you feel better.

And anlother one Just "Bee"cause
Another digi by From The Heart. Papers are from the scrap box.
Another year resolving to not buy new but to use up scrap papers. Hahaha! How long do you give that one before it is broken?
