Kitty Birthday

A birthday for you cat loving friend or for your kitty if you're so inclined to do that. I love cats but don't think I ever gave one a birthday card!
The DP is from a yard sale purchase of a birthday card kit. Cat and sentiment are from Newton's Nook. They have the cutest images!  I used several colored pencils to color the cat. I was going for calico look--not sure I achieved that, so it's a good thing cats come in all sorts of colors and patterns!  Banners under the button are a SU punch. Button is tied on with lavender and yellow twines.
I used green, birthday, and button from the tic-tac-toe challenge from The Paper Players

and the design from Newton's Nook sketch

  5. Super cute card! I love that you used a mix of pencils to color the kitty - if not calico, then a tabby works too! Thanks so much for playing along with our Inky Paws Challenge at Newton's Nook Designs!
